Read the book. Explore the city. Make some new friends.
The Book Club that doesn’t stay in one place.
Instead of meeting once after everyone has finished the book, we choose a book, pick a city, and spend the day reading our way through it. We’ll do several crawls for one book.
Each crawl takes us to a different lineup of local bookstores, coffee shops, restaurants, dessert spots, parks, libraries, and other hidden gems with reading, conversation, and a little exploring along the way.

HOW DOES A BOOK CRAWL WORK?
-
Before each crawl, we announce our featured read. Sometimes we’ll vote as a group. Sometimes Atlas will choose. And sometimes the theme, season, or city will make the choice for us.
The goal is always the same: pick something fun to read and even more fun to talk about.
You don't have to finish the book before you come—in fact, we'd rather you didn't.
-
No two crawls have to look the same.
One month we may be crawling through Arlington. The next could take us through Dallas, Fort Worth, or somewhere completely new.
Each route is built around places worth discovering - from independent bookstores and neighborhood cafés to great lunch spots, bakeries, libraries, and unexpected local favorites.
-
At each stop, we settle in and read a designated number of pages - usually around 20–30 pages per stop.
Bring your physical book, Kindle, audiobook + headphones, or whatever makes you happy.
Some stops are for quiet reading. Others leave plenty of room for chatting, eating, browsing, and getting to know the people crawling with you.
-
After each reading section, we'll have a new discussion question.
Nothing overly serious or academic.
Think:
Which character would you invite to girl dinner?
What's your most unhinged theory so far?
Who are you already suspicious of?
Would you keep reading if we stopped right now?
The conversations evolve right along with the book.
-
Book closed. Bookmark in. Next stop.
We make our way through the city together until we've completed the day's route.
By the end of the crawl, you've read a chunk of a new book, discovered a few new places, eaten something good, and hopefully met someone you'd want to crawl with again.
NOT YOUR TRADITIONAL BOOK CLUB
There are no monthly living-room meetings.
No pressure to finish 400 pages before you show up.
No pretending you remember what happened in Chapter 3 when you finished the book three weeks ago.
We read together. We explore together. We discuss as we go.
Every crawl is its own little adventure.
Come to one. Come to five. Come to every single one.
WHO CAN JOIN?
You.
Seriously.
You don't need to already know someone in the group. You don't have to be an avid reader. And you definitely don't need to show up with a friend.
Come solo. Bring your best friend. Invite your sister. Send the link to the girl you met once who said she loves books.
The more readers, the better the crawl.
