Think of it as a romantasy sleepover meets a mini bookish getaway with plenty of time to read, explore Austin, talk books, and spend time with people who understand why a fictional man with a sword and questionable morals is sometimes all you need.
The weekend begins Friday with check-in, welcome bags, introductions, and a relaxed welcome dinner before settling in for an evening of books, conversation, and getting to know your fellow readers.
Saturday is intentionally yours. Sleep in. Find a cozy corner and read for hours. Explore Austin. Join an optional bookish activity. Visit the Austin Public Library, browse for your next five-star read, or simply enjoy having absolutely nowhere you have to be. We'll come back together for a fun evening featuring dinner, a romantasy book-to-screen movie night, themed treats, and plenty of commentary from the couch.
Sunday morning, we'll gather one last time for a leisurely farewell brunch, swap recommendations, talk about the books we loved (and the characters we're now emotionally attached to), and close out our weekend before heading back to the real world.
This isn't a conference, a traditional book club, or a packed retreat itinerary. There are no required reading lists and no pressure to participate in everything. Bring the fantasy, romantasy, paranormal romance, or deliciously unhinged book currently consuming your life and spend the weekend exactly how you want.
